Majority of the Indian weddings are done by ‘kundali’ matching. It is believed that ‘mangal dosh’ in astrological chart brings bad luck and endangers the groom’s life. If a girl or boy has ‘mangal dosh’ in the charts of her/his kundali due to astronomical positions of stars at the time she was born, she/he has to marry an animal or a tree to avoid bad luck and mishaps.
